Begins week of October 21st, weather permitting.

There will be ongoing traffic shifts and overnight lane closures on both I-80 and Midland Avenue as bridge work is completed.

Crews will be working day and night to remove the existing bridges, which may generate noise and require bright lighting for safety.  Demolition is expected to last approximately 3 weeks.

This project is part of IDOT’s larger plan to reconstruct 16 miles of I-80.
