Nighttime roadwork is planned for this Friday night, April 25 on Midland Avenue at I-80.  Weather permitting, IDOT’s contractor will be setting new bridge beams for the I-80 bridge over Midland Avenue.  Starting at 8PM Friday, lanes will be closed on Midland Avenue and 2-way traffic will be maintained with a flagger.  Over the night, Midland will be completely closed for up to 15 minutes at a time as crews set the new bridge beams in place.  All work is expected to be completed by 10AM Saturday morning, likely sooner.
